-Shri N.K. Singh is a distinguished Indian economist, academic, and policymaker, and has previously served as Chairman of the 15th Finance Commission. He has also chaired the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Review Committee and served in the Rajya Sabha from 2008 to 2014. A former Indian Administrative Service officer, Mr. Singh held key roles including Expenditure Secretary and Secretary to the Prime Minister. His career spans both national leadership and global engagement, with extensive interaction with multilateral institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, ADB, and OECD.
